Mitigation Actions

Mitigation measures also include adequate compensation to Project Affected Persons (PAP) for loss of land use rights; the resettlement of PAP within the same communities in which they live; the development of social development programmes that will assist PAP in using the participation mechanisms defined by law, which should include the Provincial Government, District Authorities, community leaders and PAP.
